David Donnier was born in Paris in 1980. At the age of nine he started studying music at the conservatory, and later started learning guitar with his dad, a world known ethnomusicologist and flamenco guitarist.
In 2008 he formed the band D.Donnier and His Bones, and his own solo project in 2016. His style mixes chanson française with 60's and 70's rock and country music.
